Products don't appear in my import list

What to check when your import list stays empty or products are not imported: category selection, product status and your plan's product slots.

Added products or categories, but is your Import list staying empty - or are products stuck and not appearing in your shop? There are a few common causes. Work through them in order.

1. Check the product status

Every product on the Import list page has a status. Products only become visible in your shop when the import has completed:

  • In import list - the product is on your list but the import to your shop has not started.

  • Pending import - the product is queued and will be pushed to your shop shortly.

  • In shop - the product is live in your shop.

  • Not imported - the product could not be imported, or was skipped. If products stay in this status, contact support with the SKU or product name.

2. Check your product slots (plan limit)

Your subscription plan includes a maximum number of products in your shop (product slots). When all slots are used:

  • New products stay on the import list with status In import list and are not pushed to your shop.

  • You can free up slots by removing products from your shop, or upgrade your plan via Billing.

Your plan can also limit the number of suppliers you can import from. In that case the Import list page shows: "Your import list has products from more suppliers than your plan allows. Choose which suppliers to import below, or upgrade your plan to import products from more suppliers."
