WooCommerce stores connect to GOGETTERS through the GOGETTERS plugin for WordPress. The plugin links your shop to the GOGETTERS portal, where you manage suppliers, products and orders.

How the connection works
When you install and activate the GOGETTERS plugin in WordPress, it registers your shop with GOGETTERS automatically:
The plugin sends your shop URL and a set of WooCommerce API keys to GOGETTERS, so GOGETTERS can create and update products in your shop.
GOGETTERS returns a unique shared secret to the plugin. This secret is used to sign the link between your WordPress admin and the GOGETTERS portal, so you can open the portal securely without a separate password.
The plugin sends new orders from your shop to GOGETTERS. Only orders that are paid are processed; cancelled, refunded and failed orders are skipped.
Installation steps
Download the plugin from gogetters.eu/pages/integrations and install and activate it in your WordPress admin.
The plugin connects your shop to GOGETTERS and tests the API connection automatically.
Open the GOGETTERS portal via the plugin. You are logged in automatically.
In the portal, complete your company details and VAT number before activating suppliers. See Company details and VAT number.
Connection test: "API can't be reached"
During setup, GOGETTERS tests whether it can reach your WooCommerce REST API. It automatically tries several URL variants (with and without index.php and query-string authentication), so most permalink configurations work out of the box. If the connection still fails, you will see the error API can't be reached. Common causes:
The WooCommerce REST API is disabled or blocked.
A security plugin or firewall blocks external API requests.
Your site is not reachable over HTTPS from the internet (for example a local or password-protected site).
After fixing the cause you can run the connection again from the plugin. If it keeps failing, contact GOGETTERS support.
