Automatic order processing

How the Auto order setting works, which orders are processed automatically, and how price limits and approval affect processing.

With automatic order processing, GOGETTERS submits new orders to your supplier without any action from you. You can control this per supplier. This article explains how to switch it on, what happens when it is off, and which extra rules can influence when an order is processed automatically.

When Auto order is on, we send new orders to the supplier every 5 minutes, without any action needed from you.

Turn Auto order on or off

  1. Open the GOGETTERS app and go to Suppliers.

  2. Open the supplier and click Settings.

  3. Scroll to the Automation section.

  4. Check or uncheck Auto order. The app describes it as: "If this is set, orders will be automatically submitted to the supplier".

  5. Click Save.

Note for one-click suppliers: the Auto order checkbox is only shown for integrated suppliers. Orders for one-click suppliers are always created automatically at the supplier, because the supplier only starts processing after your payment. See Pay suppliers per order (one-click).

What happens when Auto order is off

If Auto order is unchecked, incoming orders get the status No auto order on the Orders page. GOGETTERS registers the order but does not send it to the supplier - you need to place the order with the supplier yourself.

Only paid orders are processed

By default, GOGETTERS only processes orders that are marked as paid in your shop. This protects you from sending unpaid orders to a supplier.

If your shop uses payment methods that keep orders in a pending or authorized state (for example manual bank transfers), processing of these orders can be enabled for your account on request. Keep in mind that this is at your own risk: orders are then sent to the supplier before the payment is completed. Contact support if you want this. See Contact support.

Related settings in the Automation section

  • Auto fulfilment - "If this is set, tracking numbers will be send automatically to your shop when an order is fulfilled." See Track & trace.

  • Auto update pricing - keeps product prices in your shop up to date; this is unrelated to orders but lives in the same section.
