Integrated suppliers require a free account with the supplier itself. GOGETTERS uses your account details to import products, keep stock up to date and place your orders at the supplier. Without correct details, none of that can run. See Supplier types explained.
Important: "It is important that you are a customer of this supplier before you start selling their products!" If you do not have an account yet, the settings page shows "This supplier requires an account." with a link: "Click here to create an account." Register with the supplier first, then come back.
Enter your credentials
Activate the supplier first. See Activate a supplier (Shopify app). See Activate a supplier (WooCommerce / Prestashop / CCVShop portal).
Go to Suppliers (Shopify app) or Browse suppliers (portal) and click Settings on the supplier card.
Open the Credentials section at the top of the settings page.
Fill in the fields the supplier requires. These differ per supplier - common examples are Username, Password, API Username and API key. Some suppliers use special fields, for example FTP Username (not your email address!) and FTP Password, or separate keys such as API key feed and API key orders. Did you receive FTP details from a supplier? Enter those here in the supplier's settings as well.
Click Save. You see "Settings saved successfully" when the details are stored.
How verification works
When you save new credentials, GOGETTERS tests the connection with the supplier. If the connection succeeds, the credentials are marked as verified and the product import for your account is started automatically.
You can also test new credentials yourself with a trial import: try importing a product. If the import succeeds, the connection works.
If verification fails
If we cannot log in with the details you entered, you see this error:
"We were unable to connect to the supplier with the given credentials."
Check the following:
Copy the details exactly as you received them from the supplier - watch out for extra spaces or autocomplete changing the values.
Make sure you use the right type of credentials. For example, for vidaXL (VDM) you must use your FTP username, not your email address. The app warns you: "The username you have entered appears to be an email address. Please use your FTP username. Contact VDM or our support if you need more help."
Check that your account with the supplier is fully activated on the supplier's side.
Keep your credentials up to date
"If you change your login details at the supplier, don't forget to change them here as well." And remember: "If these details are not correct, imports, inventory updates and orders might not work." A supplier with outdated credentials will silently stop receiving your orders - so update GOGETTERS right after changing your password at the supplier.
