Supplier and product limits explained

How the supplier limits and product slots of your GOGETTERS subscription work, and what happens when a limit is reached.

Every GOGETTERS subscription comes with limits: how many suppliers you can have active and how many product variants can be in your shop. This article explains each limit and what happens when you reach one.

The three supplier limits

  • Integrated supplier limit - the maximum number of integrated suppliers (suppliers where you have your own account and pay the supplier directly) you can have active at the same time.

  • One-click supplier limit - the maximum number of one-click suppliers (activated with one click, paid through the app) you can have active at the same time.

  • Combined limit - the maximum total number of active suppliers across both types.

If you try to activate a supplier beyond your limit, the app shows "You have reached the maximum number of integrated suppliers." or "You have reached the maximum number of one-click suppliers." To add another supplier, deactivate one first or upgrade your plan.

Product slots

Your plan includes a maximum number of product variants - your product slots. Every product variant that is in your shop uses one slot, and so does every variant on its way in (pending import or pending update) or on its way out (pending delete). Products that are still only in your import list do not use a slot. The Usage block on the dashboard shows how many slots are Used and Available, and warns you when you have used more than 80% of your limit.

What happens when your product slots are full?

  • Products already in your shop stay in your shop - nothing is removed.

  • New products you try to import cannot be uploaded. They remain in your Import list with the status "In import list" and are imported automatically once slots become available (after you free up slots or upgrade your plan).

  • Products that fail to import get the status "Not imported". Open the import list to see the reason per product - as the app puts it: "To see why the import of a product failed, please visit the import list".

How to free up product slots

You free up slots by removing products in your import list, not in your webshop.

  1. Open your Import List.

  2. Look for the products with the status In shop. Those are the ones using a slot.

  3. Delete them there. They are removed from your import list and from your webshop at the same time.

Two things to keep in mind:

  • Deleting a product directly in your webshop does not free up a slot. We count the products in your GOGETTERS account, so the product has to be removed here as well.

  • A slot only becomes free once the deletion has finished. As long as a product still has the status Pending delete or Deleting it keeps its slot, so it can take a moment before you are able to import again.

For all the ways to remove products, see Remove products.

Too many suppliers in your import list

If your import list contains products from more suppliers than your plan allows, the import list shows a selection screen: "Your import list has products from more suppliers than your plan allows. Choose which suppliers to import below, or upgrade your plan to import products from more suppliers." Select suppliers within your limit and click Import selected, or click Upgrade your plan.

Increasing your limits

Open the dashboard and click Change subscription to compare plans and their limits. Upgrades take effect immediately after confirmation. See Upgrade, downgrade or cancel your subscription.
