Update all prices at once

Apply one margin to all products in your import list in one go, over the B2B price or the SRP.

Introduction

Sometimes you want to reprice everything in one go - for example after deciding on a new margin strategy. GOGETTERS has two bulk options:

  • Update all product prices on the supplier settings page: recalculates all products of that supplier using your saved settings (margins, advanced rules, rounding, MAP).

  • Set margin for all products on all pages on the import list: applies one simple margin to every product that matches your current filter, regardless of supplier settings.

This article covers both. If you are not sure what B2B price and SRP mean, read How GOGETTERS calculates your selling price first.

Option 1: Update all product prices (per supplier)

  1. Go to Suppliers and click Settings on the supplier.

  2. Set your margins the way you want them. See Set your margins per supplier.

  3. Click Update all product prices.

Every product of this supplier - in your import list and in your store - is recalculated with the full pricing chain: your margin (or advanced rules), VAT, MAP protection and rounding. Use this when you want your saved settings applied consistently.

Option 2: Set a margin from the import list (portal)

In the GOGETTERS portal the import list has a bulk pricing panel:

  1. Open the Import list.

  2. Optional: filter first by status or search on title. The bulk action only touches the products that match your filter - but it does apply to all pages of the result, not just the page on screen.

  3. Click the Price settings button to open the panel.

  4. Drag the B2B price slider or the Suggested Retail Price slider to the margin you want.

  5. Click Set margin for all products on all pages.

What happens per product:

  • B2B slider: new price = B2B price + your margin + 21% VAT. Example: B2B €10.00 with 50% → €10.00 × 1.50 × 1.21 = €18.15.

  • SRP slider: new price = SRP + your margin. Example: SRP €20.00 with 25% → €25.00.

Products that are already in your store get the status Pending price update and the new price is pushed to your store shortly after.

In the Shopify app you can edit prices directly in the Price column of the import list and save them with the save bar; the profit preview updates while you type. See How the profit calculator works.

The bulk margin panel is a portal feature. In the Shopify app you change prices in bulk from the supplier settings page (option 1 above).

What does a bulk update overwrite?

  • All manual price changes you made per product in the import list. There is no undo, so check a few products first.

  • The import-list bulk margin ignores your supplier price settings (advanced rules, rounding, minimum margins). It is a simple, flat calculation. If you want your full settings applied, use Update all product prices on the supplier settings page instead.

Note: if Auto update pricing is enabled for a supplier, prices will be recalculated from your supplier settings at the next automatic update - and your bulk change may be overwritten again. The import list shows a warning banner when this is the case. See Automatic price updates.

When should I use which option?

  • Structural change (new margin strategy): change the supplier settings, then click Update all product prices.

  • Quick one-off correction across your import list: use the import list bulk margin.

  • Nice-looking prices (.95 / .99): use price rounding. See Psychological price rounding.
