You can change your GOGETTERS subscription at any time from the plans page in the app. This article covers upgrading, downgrading and cancelling - for Shopify stores and for portal stores (WooCommerce, Prestashop, CCVShop).
Changing your plan (Shopify app)
Open the dashboard and click Change subscription in the Usage block (or open the Subscribe page).
Use the Monthly / Yearly toggle to compare billing periods. Your current plan is marked with a Current badge.
Click Choose on the plan you want.
You are redirected to a Shopify billing confirmation screen showing the price, any setup fee and any trial period. Approve the charge there.
After approval you are returned to the GOGETTERS dashboard and the new plan is active. The charge appears on your regular Shopify invoice.
Changing your plan (portal)
In the portal, open the Subscribe page and click Select on the plan you want. A review screen shows exactly what happens:
Upgrades can start immediately. The remaining value of your current subscription is used for a prorated new subscription, and any amount due today is paid through Mollie.
Some changes are scheduled: the plan card then shows a "From (date)" label and the new plan starts on that date, at the end of your current billing period.
Payment runs through Mollie; recurring charges use your Mollie mandate. See Invoices and payment.
Downgrading: fit within the new limits first
You can only downgrade when your store fits within the limits of the smaller plan. If not, the plan page tells you exactly what to reduce, for example:
"Please remove (n) product(s) to downgrade"
"Please remove (n) integrated supplier(s) to downgrade"
"Please remove (n) one-click supplier(s) to downgrade"
"Please remove (n) supplier(s) to downgrade" (the combined supplier limit)
Delete products from your shop and/or deactivate suppliers until you are within the new plan's limits, then choose the plan again. Because of this check, a downgrade never removes products or suppliers automatically - you decide what goes. See Supplier and product limits explained.
The same applies when you switch back to the free plan: you first need to remove products (and if needed suppliers) until your store fits within the free plan limits. The app blocks the downgrade until then, and nothing is removed automatically.
Cancelling
Shopify: switch to the free plan on the plans page - this cancels your paid Shopify subscription. Uninstalling the app also ends your subscription (Shopify stops the recurring charge when an app is uninstalled).
Portal: use the plans page to cancel or switch to a free plan. You will be asked to let us know why you are cancelling - this short survey helps us improve the app.
Recommended order when cancelling: first delete the imported products from your shop, wait until they are actually removed, then deactivate your supplier(s), and finally switch to the free plan.
Setup fee when switching
The one-time setup fee is only charged once. If you already paid it, or you switch to a yearly plan, no setup fee is charged when you change plans. The plans page shows this per plan ("Setup fee is already paid" / "No setup fee"). See Subscriptions and what they include.
