What is going on
A security vulnerability has been found in PHP, a widely used programming language that GOGETTERS also runs on. Many companies are taking their systems offline as a precaution, and so are we. Our systems are currently switched off. As soon as a security update is available and installed on our side, we will switch everything back on.
What this means for you
The GOGETTERS app and the portal are temporarily unavailable.
Orders are temporarily not forwarded to suppliers, and no new track and trace codes come in.
Your webshop itself stays online. Please keep in mind that orders will ship a little later.
What happens to your orders
Shopify and CCVShop: orders that come in during this period are processed automatically as soon as our systems are back online. You don't need to do anything.
WooCommerce and PrestaShop: orders that come in during this period need to be sent to us again once we are back online. This is how:
Open the order in your webshop.
Make a small change, for example add a space after the postcode.
Save the order.
Saving sends the order to GOGETTERS again, and we forward it to the supplier. Only do this after you have received our email that everything is back online.
Using WooCommerce or PrestaShop? Update your own server too
WooCommerce and PrestaShop also run on PHP, so your webshop may be vulnerable too. Make sure your server is updated urgently as soon as the security update is available:
Shared hosting: ask your hosting provider to install the update.
Your own (virtual) server: install the update yourself, or have it done by whoever manages your server.
When will everything work again?
That depends on when the security update becomes available. We will update this article as soon as there is news, and you will receive an email when everything is back online.
