With a prepaid balance you top up an amount with a one-click supplier once, and new orders are then paid from that balance automatically - no need to open the app for every single order. The prepaid balance is available for suppliers that have enabled it, and it works alongside one-click payments: you can always still pay an individual order manually. See Pay suppliers per order (one-click).
Please note: prepaid balance is not available by default. It is only enabled on request. If you would like to use a prepaid balance, email [email protected] and we will let you know whether it can be enabled for your account.
Where to find your balance
Go to Suppliers, open the supplier and click Settings. If the supplier supports it, you will see the section Prepaid balance for [supplier] with your Current balance.
Your balances are also shown at the top of the Orders page under Prepaid balance, with a Top up balance link per supplier.
Top up your balance
Open the supplier's Settings page and click Top up balance.
In the Top up balance for [supplier] window, choose one of the preset amounts or enter your own amount in the Amount (EUR) field. The minimum top-up is EUR 100.00.
Click Continue to payment. You are redirected to the Mollie checkout.
After a successful payment you see the confirmation "Your balance has been topped up."
How orders are paid from your balance
When a new order comes in, the order amount (B2B price plus shipping) is deducted from your balance automatically and the order is processed by the supplier right away.
The order row on the Orders page shows your Current balance underneath the cost breakdown.
If your balance is too low for an order, the order waits with the status Awaiting Payment and shows the warning "Insufficient prepaid balance for this order." You can then click Top up balance, or pay just that order with Click here to pay.
If a supplier refunds an order that was paid from your balance, the amount is added back to your balance.
View your transaction history
Open the supplier's Settings page and click View all transactions in the Prepaid balance section.
The Transactions page shows your Current balance and a list of all transactions: Deposit, Refund, Order payment and Order refund, each with the date, amount and the balance after the transaction.
Use Previous and Next to browse through the pages.
